Zazen, which literally means “seating meditation” is a meditative practice from the Buddhist Zen Tradition. The meaning and methods for practicing Zazen from school to school, but it is generally regarded as a means to attain insight into the nature of existence. Similar to mindfulness meditation, and Zuowang, the aim of Zazen is to just sit,  suspending all judgmental thinking and letting words, ideas, images and thoughts pass by without getting too involved in them.
